At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a distinct Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, according to regional authorities.

Russian forces has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "concrete actions" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, European nations and the G7 - in providing defensive weapons and implementing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.
